Suki or (Suki Nana) as she was affectionately known as by many, including myself and my kids, came to me on a beautiful summer morning in July of 2009. Noreen and I were notified about a Momma Pit Bull and her 6 few day old pups that were in a desperate situation and needed immediate help. They were in a MA shelter. No where for little babies to grow up. I knew straight away that I had to take Momma and her babies.
Noreen had driven to Boston to get Suki and the pups and I met her at her house to take them home with me. Well I have to say it was definitely love at first sight…I took one look at Suki Nana and I was hooked..she had the silliest smile ever, but boy was she BEAUTIFUL!!! Inside and out.
I had no idea what I was letting myself in for fostering Suki Nana and her 6 tiny tiny pups…I was already fostering Fenway (another PLR dog) And I had my 3 dogs, Cloey, Tyson and Louie. Cloey is known for her jealously when other dogs come into the house so I had no idea how she would react.
