PittieLove Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, rehabilitation and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier, one of the most abused and misunderstood breeds of all time. Our number one goal is to protect our rescued dogs from neglect and abuse, and to carefully place them into loving homes where they will be ambassadors for the breed.

All of the dogs that come into our rescue are spayed or neutered, given appropriate vaccines, and are provided with veterinary care as needed. We always strive to keep our dogs happy and healthy, but financially it is often difficult for us to do so.

For example, this year our rescue unexpectedly accrued thousands of dollars in vet bills when two of our dogs needed immediate care. Cindi Lou, a staff favorite, needed an expensive surgery to fix a cruciate tear that had left her unable to walk. Also that year, Elsie, a 4-month-old puppy who was malnourished and neglected when she entered our rescue, nearly lost her life had it not been for treatments she received for an extremely high temperature and severe dehydration.

Fundraising is our biggest challenge; without funds we cannot help dogs who are in desperate need. Therefore, we invite you to join the PittieLove Rescue Website Sponsor Program, a way for us to raise money for our rescue and help support your local businesses at the same time.

Since the re-design of our website 1 year ago, we have had a surge of new visitors which has helped us spread the word about our dogs and our organization.
