*  Meet Pear! This 5-year old bulldog came to us from local animal control after being found tied to a pole down the street from their facility. Pear was found with Peaches, and we believe they are mother (Pear) and daughter (Peaches). When found, Peaches had broken out of her harness, but refused to leave Pears side. It’s obvious both dogs have been bred. *** Because they rely heavily on each other and become stressed when the other is not around, we are looking to place Peaches and Pear together. *** Though we typically do not place females together, we always make exceptions in the best interest of the dogs. Anyone who met this bonded pair would agree this is one of those cases.

Mama Pear is a spectacularly freckled lowrider of the bulldog variety, reminiscent of a land cow, who is extremely friendly and loves everyone and everything she meets. She is an easy gal who rocks the couch potato life and literally moves in slow motion. Pear is a unicorn…always smiling and always happy, regardless of her past. She loves to love and be loved in return and enjoys snuggling. She is clearly the more confident of the two and most definitely a people person. Though she doesn’t know basic commands like “sit”, you’ll usually find her sitting since it’s perfectly at her level.  🙂

Both Peaches and Pear have tested well with cats and dogs. Due to their unknown history, older kids would be best for these little ladies.

**We are only considering applications to adopt both Peaches and Pear together at this time. We feel we owe it to them to make every effort to keep them together, considering they have relied heavily on one another through all they have endured in their short lives.

We extend our sincere thanks to the following sponsors for supporting Pear!
