We are PittieLove

PittieLove Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts. We are an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of pit bull type dogs. PittieLove’s primary goal is to ensure that our rescued dogs will never again suffer from abuse or neglect. We work diligently to carefully place them into loving homes where, for all of their remaining years, they will experience the affection and kindness that has been so sorely absent from their lives.

Foster

Fostering Saves Lives. If you’re not ready to make a long-term commitment, but would still like to make a difference in an animal’s life, you may want to consider becoming a foster parent. Fostering a dog is a tremendously rewarding experience and truly saves the life of a dog who would likely not be saved otherwise.

The Inspiration

PittieLove Rescue founder Noreen Ford’s love for pit bull type dogs started with Poncho in 2001. She started rescuing because of this special boy and eventually formed PittieLove Rescue in his honor. So many dogs’ lives saved because of one forever dog. Poncho, one of the happiest, crazy, fun loving dogs she’s had the pleasure of being a Mom to. No person was ever a stranger. He greeted every single person he met with a wagging tail and the best kisses ever.

Rosie came into Noreen’s life in 2002, found on the side of a city street with her Mom and two siblings. She was approximately 4 months old. This baby girl, since day one, had never been anything short of amazing. She loved everyone. Dogs, cats, and children alike. A Certified Therapy Dog, PittieLove Rescue’s mascot, a true breed ambassador. She changed so many people’s minds about the many misconceptions of pit bull type dogs.
